Slight delay in my entry but I had to cancel my inspection as my grandad was rushed in to hospital, luckily he's ok now.
I rang up to cancel 2 days prior to the inspection and I was asked to fax a letter to the NICEIC explaining my reasons, despite this on friday the poor guy from the NICEIC still turned up and hadn't been informed of the cancellation which I thought was a little poor.
Anyway I'm just awaiting my new NICEIC inspection date which I hope is soon.
Luckily because I had good reason to cancel, I won't be charged again.

NICEIC inspection
I have my NICEIC inspection this friday, I'm quite nervous as I don't really know what to expect bit I'm confident that my work is to a great standard so I shouldn't have anything to worry about, it's just 'pre exam' type nerves I guess.
I'm guessing as my blog is new, no electricians with experience of running their own company are going to read this in time to offer me friendly advice but who knows the wonders of the internet eh?
I'll keep you all posted on how it goes, keep your fingers crossed for me.

Electrician Grays Essex
Hi guys,
I'm an Electrician in Grays Essex, I run my own company called electrician4hire.
Electrician4hire provides services to both commercial and domestic sectors and we offer a full range of services from changing lights to full house rewires.
We're fully qualified and insured, we'll be NICEIC approved as of friday and all work complies to the 16th edition.
We're only a small team of Electricians right now but growing all the time and looking to hire more electricians in the near future in areas such as basildon, brentwood etc.
We aim to provide top quality service for a reasonable price, my opinion is that far to many tradesman these days charge far more than their work is worth and their work is often less than perfect, I'm often called out to fix something that another electrician hasn't done properly.
I've made this blog as a bit of a diary I guess, so I can look back in 10 years and see just how far the company has developed.
